Roles and Responsibilities

At the beginning of each school year the children choose the chosen charity of the year to support.

This year, has been extremely difficult with the restrictions of Covid-19, however we have completed a children in need collection, Love in a Box and the Harvest Festival food bank collection.

In 2016-17 pupils have chosen to support Cancer Research and money will be split between this charity and other good causes throughout the year.

Please find a link below to Cancer Research

In 2015-16 children chose to support Macmillan Cancer Support - this meant that half of all of our fundraising went to this charity. The rest was split between the school and other causes such as Red Nose Day and Children in Need etc.

In the past the School Council has been fundraising for a quite outdoor reading/ learning area which was completed in 2019.

The Council recruited one of the parents to build the structure.
